Sarah Russell re-appointed to APG Supervisory Board and asset management business

Sarah Russell has been appointed to the supervisory board of APG Group NV and APG Asset Management NV for a second term, effective from 1 May 2025.

The term, which will last for four years, has been approved by shareholders. Russell is vice chair of the Supervisory Board and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of APG Group NV and is also a member of the Supervisory Board of APG Asset Management NV.

She has worked in the international financial and global wealth management industry for over 30 years, both in Europe and in her native Australia.

Among other things, she was CEO of Aegon Asset Management from 2010 to 2019 and was also a member of the Board of Directors of Aegon NV from 2016 to 2019. In addition to her positions at APG, she is currently a member and vice chair of the Supervisory Board of the Currency Exchange Fund and a member of the Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO NV.
