AP Pension appoints Kristian Sondrup as sales director

Danish pension company AP Pension has appointed Kristian Sondrup as its sales director, where he will oversee sales, customer relations, and consulting services.

Sondrup took up the position on 1 May 2025 and joins from Nordea Pension (formerly Topdanmark), where he was sales director.

In his new role, he will be in charge of AP Pension's sales activities, strengthening the relationship with brokers and partners, and developing the advisory services for private and corporate customers.

Commenting on his appointment, Sondrup said: "AP Pension has a strong brand and a clear ambition to put customers first. It is an ambition that I fully share.

“I look forward to expanding the collaboration with brokers and partners, strengthening the close dialogue with both business and private customers, and further developing the personal and digital advice.

“Ultimately, it is about ensuring that our customers feel safe and well helped in all phases of life.”

Adding to this, AP Pension's CCO, Janni Bové Schou, said: “We are pleased to welcome Kristian to AP Pension. He comes with solid experience in driving the commercial agenda and expanding relationships with our many partners.

“At the same time, he has a strong strategic view of how we can strengthen the customer experience and ensure that we are among the preferred pension companies in Denmark in the future.”
