WTW appoints Julien Lorenzi as head risk & analytics in France

WTW has announced the appointment of Julien Lorenzi as head of risk & analytics in France.

At WTW, Lorenzi was previously in charge of the risk management activities as well as the financial expertise division of the risk & analytics team in France.

He has also contributed to the structuring of the risk & analytics team over the past seven years and helped to set up all the tools and capabilities of the WTW group in France.

Prior to joining WTW France in 2018, he assisted international clients from a range of industries in structuring, implementing and optimising captive insurance and reinsurance companies.

Lorenzi began his career as an online financial broker before turning to captive and risk finance consulting in 2014.

He has an international profile (Canada, England, United States) and in-depth training in finance and risk management.

In addition to this, Lorenzi is a graduate of HEC Montréal, the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association.

Lorenzi will report to global head of alternative risk transfer and head of Western Europe for risk & analytics, Derrick Easton, to ensure “strong coordination with international expertise”.

France WTW managing director, Nick Dussuyer, said the company are “very happy” with Julien's evolution.

“Through his background and expertise, he will be able to further develop this essential role of advising our clients and enhance the importance of data in risk management,” he said.
