Sweden’s AP3 launches tender for screening and engagement services

Sweden’s third national pension fund (AP3) has launched a procurement notice for norms-based screening, product-based screening, and engagement services on behalf of the Council on Ethics for the Swedish National Pension Funds.

The tender is divided into three separate lots, covering norms-based screening, product-based screening, and norms-based engagement services.

Contracts will be awarded for all three lots, with a single service provider able to be awarded one or more lots.

The procurement will result in contracts for all three lots, and a single service provider may be awarded one or several lots.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 1 November 2026.

The Council on Ethics is a collaboration between three of Sweden’s buffer funds, AP2, AP3, and AP4, which aims to drive positive change, primarily in foreign companies in which the funds are shareholders, through dialogue and engagement.
