Sampension invests in sustainable property company Home Earth

Denmark’s Sampension has invested in the sustainable property company Home Earth.

Sampension described Home Earth as “innovative” with a “holistic approach to sustainability”. It said the investment supports the parties' shared goal of creating market-leading ESG and sustainability performance in property development and operations, while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns.

Home Earth's team develops and rents out quality homes with a focus on integrating sustainability and social responsibility. Driven by innovation and a focus on long-term solutions, Home Earth integrates green technologies, materials and new approaches to residents into its properties, minimising the carbon footprint and giving residents the best value for money.

Commenting, Sampension community head of property and infrastructure, Torbjørn Lange, said: "We look forward to contributing to and being part of Home Earth, which, with a very strong and experienced team, demonstrates how the ESG agenda can be integrated throughout the company's DNA while generating market-consistent returns on investments. We believe that Home Earth has the potential to become a market leader in the transition towards a more sustainable housing market.”

Sampension's investment will help Home Earth to further expand its portfolio of projects and thereby further the company's ambitions.

The goal is to create a property company that, from a holistic perspective, is at the forefront of future requirements, thereby ensuring stable, attractive and future-proof returns that match professional investors' need for reliable investments.
