Pensioenfonds UWV current funding ratio fell over the month

Dutch pension fund Pensioenfonds UWV reported that its current funding ratio fell to 119.8 per cent in September 2024, down from 120.6 per cent in August.

This is the lowest level of the current funding ratio in the last six months.

In addition to this, Pensioenfonds UWV's average policy funding ratio remained steady at 120.4 per cent in September.

This is compared to the average policy funding ratio being at 120.6 per cent in August.

The fund highlighted that the overall funding is 120.4 per cent.

Given this, Pensioenfonds UWV suggested that as the funding ratio was currently higher than 110 per cent the fund is “healthy” and there may be an increase in pensions for their savers.
