- Krykans Pension (The Church Pension Fund of Sweden) has announced that at its General Council on 10 June, Daniel Eriksson, EY, was elected as the new responsible external auditor.
The pension fund also recently announced that at its ordinary board meeting on 23 May, its board decided to reduce the bonus rate for defined contribution (DC) pensions from 8 per cent to 5 per cent as of 1 July 2025. In addition, the consolidation ratio in DC contribution insurance as at 31 March 2025 was 108 per cent, and the target consolidation ratio is 107 per cent.
- Summer interns working at Finnish earnings-related pension provider Ilmarinen this year have spent this week running the Finanssialalle Instagram account, which promotes a career in financial services.
The three interns, Ella, Niklas and Karla, have spent the week posting information, interviews, photos, videos and stories about working at Ilmarinen.
- Denmark’s Lægernes Pension, for doctors, has partnered with the Danish Medical Association to offer help to members with substance abuse problems.
The support is through an anonymous counselling service for doctors who have problems with medicine or drugs, or who are worried that they may be developing an addiction.
Lægernes Pension member manager, Mie Thorseth, said the pension fund is aware that “shame and fear of being discovered often prevent doctors from seeking help”. Therefore, this service means doctors can get help without worrying that colleagues, employers or authorities will be informed.
