France's Natixis Interépargne has joined forces with the fintech individual retirement savings specialist My PENSION to provide a dedicated employee savings and pension offering.
The firms said the move would combine the two businesses' expertise and enable them to offer employee savings and retirement plans to a greater number of workers in France.
The companies confirmed that their offering would be open to businesses of all sizes, with bespoke packages available, and would include a wide range of products.
The aim, they stated, was to create a simple, digitally managed offering that would provide education and support to businesses and employees, including personalised support and investment advice through My PENSION.
Commenting on the announcement, Natixis Interépargne’s managing director, Julien Nègre, said: “Joining forces with a fintech company like My PENSION is new for Natixis Interépargne.
"They won us over with their expertise on retirement savings and their distinctive distribution approach to the market.
"This partnership allows us to diversify our distribution channels and continue to expand the reach of retirement savings schemes for the benefit of as many people as possible, both businesses and employees.”
Speaking on behalf of My PENSION, the firm’s president, Aymeric Champeil, said: "Working with Natixis Interépargne, we will be able to bring the values that have driven our success in individual retirement savings — expertise, transparency, education and close client relationships — to employee savings, to expand its use across France."
