Varma appoints Mikaela Öberg as people and development manager

Finland’s Varma has appointed Mikaela Öberg as the manager responsible for Varma's people and development.

Öberg, who will commence the role in November, will become a member of Varma's management team, and she will report to CEO Risto Murro. She joins the firm from Remedy Entertainment, where she has worked as chief people officer for the past seven years.

“I am very pleased to be able to appoint Mikaela Öberg as Varma's manager responsible for people and development and a member of the management team. Thanks to her experience and background, she has excellent skills to take on this important task for Varma,” Murto said.
