Swedish Church pension appoints new head of compliance function

Sweden's Krykans Pension (Church of Sweden pension fund) has appointed Thomas Kellagher as the new head of the pension compliance function.

Most recently at The Financial Consulting Hub, Kellagher has worked for many years in banking and finance, dealing with regulatory and money laundering issues.

He has held several regulatory and legal roles at banks, payment service companies, fintech companies and insurance companies.

Kellagher has experience as a general counsel, compliance manager, global central function manager (CFA), advisor, and board member.

Kellagher began his new role on 1 April 2025.
