Industriens Pension appoints Morten Plannthin Lund as IT operations manager

Industriens Pension has appointed Morten Plannthin Lund as IT operations manager.

Lund, who began the new role on 3 November, brings more than three decades of experience in IT operations, IT security and strategic technology projects, having held senior positions at Nets and its parent company, Nexi Group.

Most recently, he served as technical manager at Nexi Group’s Nordic operations centre, where he oversaw critical IT infrastructure across the region.

In his new role, Lund will lead the team responsible for ensuring the operational stability and quality of Industriens Pension’s business systems and digital platforms for members and employers.

He will also play an active part in the continued development of the fund’s IT strategy, which aims to support its position as one of the most cost-effective pension providers in the Danish market, according to the firm.

In the new position, Lund will report to Industriens Pension chief information officer and deputy director, Aksel Bjørn Møller, who commented on the appointment: “I am sure that we at Industriens Pension can greatly benefit from Morten Plannthin Lund’s extensive experience with secure and stable IT operations as well as all sorts of large IT projects.

“We look forward to putting his many experiences into play at Industriens Pension,” he added.
