Ilmarinen appoints Jorma Rauhala as chairman of its board of directors

Kesko Corporation's CEO Jorma Rauhala has been appointed as the new chairman of Ilmarinen's board of directors.

Jorma Rauhala succeeds Pasi Laine, who has been chairman of the board at Ilmarinen since 2020.

Jarkko Eloranta, Confederation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK) chairman, and Jyri Häkämies, Confederation of Finnish Trade Unions (EK) CEO, will continue as vice-chairmen of the board.

Other new members have also been elected to Ilmarinen's board of directors and supervisory board.

Ilmarinen's supervisory board has elected Valmet Corporation CFO Katri Hokkanen and Posti Group Corporation CEO Antti Jääskeläinen as new board members.

Jorma Rauhala (Chairman), Jarkko Eloranta and Jyri Häkämies were also elected as members of the board's nomination and remuneration committee.

Tomi Hyryläinen (chairman), Katri Hokkanen, Pia Kalsta and Jyrki Ojanen were elected members of the board's audit and risk management committee.

The supervisory board will continue to be chaired by Metsä Group Oyj CEO, Ilkka Hämälä, with Juhapekka Joronen, SOL Palvelut Oy chairman of the board, as second vice-chairman.

The supervisory board also elected Jari Jokinen, the Finnish Association of Technical Academies executive director, as its new vice-chairman.
