Patrick Colle will become the executive chairman of securities services of BNP Paribas, in addition to his role as chairman of Financial Institutions Coverage (FIC).

Meanwhile, BNP Paribas CIB Americas head human resources officer, Claudine Gallagher, will be appointed as head of securities services globally.

Both appointments are effective as of 1 January 2026 and Gallagher will report to Colle as well as joining the leadership team of BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking.

Colle became CEO of Securities Services and chairman of FIC in October 2022 and previously was general manager of BNP Paribas Securities Services since May 2010.

He is a member of the BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking Executive Committee and has more than 35 years of experience in the industry, of which 15 are with BNP Paribas’s Securities Services business.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Patrick worked for 20 years with JP Morgan, where he held several positions in cash management, securities clearing and custody.

Meanwhile, Gallagher simultaneously served as the conduct, compliance, and control officer for the Americas for BNP Paribas USA and CIB Americas, alongside her role as head human resources officer.

She also was a member of the CIB Americas Executive Committee and began her career in securities services at JP Morgan. She also worked at Banque Paribas, before moving to BNP Paribas.
