AkademikerPension re-elects Bramsen as chairman and Priergaard as deputy

Danish pension fund AkademikerPension has re-elected Tobias Bornakke Bramsen as chairman of the board of directors and Henrik Priergaard as deputy chairman.

The appointments resulted from a board meeting held on 5 January, when the board was constituted.

The board consists of Bramsen, Priergaard, Pia Risør Bjerre, Joël Boukris, Maja Holm, Tommy Dalegaard Madsen, Carolina Magdalene Maier, Henrik Klitmøller Rasmussen, Pernille Wahlgren and Stine Wolff.

Bramsen has been chairman of AkademikerPension since January 2025. He is a former deputy chairman and has been a member of the board since 2018.

In addition to this, he is a principal of Grundtvig's Folk High School, an external board member of the Danish Consumer Council Think and a member of the Advisory Committee for The King and Queen's Community Award in 2025.

Priergaard has held the role of vice chairman since January 2025 and was previously elected as a special expert board member at a 2022 general meeting. After a long career at Nordea, he is now a professional board member.

He also serves as deputy chairman of MP Investment Management A/S and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of AkademikerPension.

Commenting on the appointments, Bramsen said: “I am very pleased to be allowed to continue as chairman, and that Henrik will continue as deputy chairman. We have many important tasks ahead of us.

“Over the past year, the Board of Directors has worked purposefully to optimise our investment strategy so that we can once again achieve a good and competitive return, and this will continue to be our primary focus.

"In 2026, we will also strengthen the proactive dialogue with our members. As a member-owned pension fund, it is important that we listen to their wishes and needs, and in recent months, we have gained valuable insight through several member surveys. We will use this knowledge to make AkademikerPension even more relevant and present in the coming years."
