- Dutch pension provider APG has selected Danish fintech company Festina Finance to develop its administration system ahead of the new pension system.

The fintech company will develop an IT system for the policy and capital administration of APG's pension fund clients, including ABP and bpfBOUW, amid the introduction of the new pensions system. APG explained that it selected Festina Finance as many of the new requirements of the new Dutch system have an overlap with existing elements in Denmark, such as defined contribution pensions.

- Industriens Pension has acquired the future headquarters of biotech company, Genmab, in Copenhagen.

The scheme will take ownership of the building and parking garage when construction is completed in March 2023. The five-story office building is fully leased to Genmab on a 15-year lease, which the scheme suggested would “fit well” into its strategy as a long term owner, with a stable return expected “for many years to come”. Industriens Pension's advisers in connection with the investment are Accura, Deloitte, Kuben Management, DEAS and CBRE.

- Danish pension provider, PFA has announced plans for a new office building, which is expected to be Denmark’s tallest wooden building.

The high-rise in Aarhus will test new methods for recycling wood, glass and obsolete wind turbine blades, and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2024. It is being developed in collaboration with Kilden and Hindby as well as Aarhus Municipality, which has supported the construction with DKK 5m from the city's climate fund.
