Sweden’s Skandia recruits Christina Sahlberg as private economist

Sweden’s Skandia has recruited Christina Sahlberg to the new role of private economist, and she will start in her new position at the beginning of March.

Sahlberg joins from comparison service Compricer, where she held the role of savings economist. In her previous role, she commented on finances and provided tips and advice on how to act as a consumer.

Commenting on the appointment, Skandiabanken CEO, Arvid Krönmark, said: “I am convinced that Christina will be a very valuable addition to the work of explaining how to make wise, informed personal finance decisions and navigate in a rapidly changing world.”

He added that he believes the reason why Sahlberg is one of the most well-known financial profiles today is because she is able to “convey her extensive knowledge in a simple and easy-to-understand way”.
