Nordea Life & Pension appoints Per Långsved as CEO

Nordea Life & Pension has appointed Per Långsved as CEO, with effect from 1 March 2025.

Långsved, who is currently head of personal banking in Sweden, will also join the management team of Asset & Wealth Management. He will continue as country manager in Sweden.

He takes over from Petteri Änkilä, who has been appointed head of large corporates & institutions and joins the corporate executive committee.

Nordea CEO, Frank Vang-Jensen, said: "I am pleased that Per has accepted the position as CEO of Nordea Life & Pension.

“He is a respected and successful leader who has the experience, commitment and drive needed to execute the strategy in the important life insurance and pension business in the Nordic region.

“With Per's strong customer focus and past business performance, I am confident that we will continue to grow and achieve our ambitious goals.”

The appointment of Långsved is subject to approval from the relevant authorities.
