- The Pension Fund of Credit Suisse Group (Switzerland) has published its results for 2024.
Its overall investment performance was 6.39 per cent for the year to the end of December. During December it achieved an investment return of -0.78 per cent, while its best performance over the year was in November when it achieved a return of 1.95 per cent.
- The jointly owned investment company of the first, third and fourth Swedish AP funds, Polhem Infra, has announced that the City of Pori has approved the sale of a 49 per cent minority stake in the energy company Pori Energia Oy, making it Polhem Infra's first Finish investment.
The City of Pori will remain the majority owner at 51 per cent. The Pori City Council approved the transaction, marking a significant step in securing the sustainable growth and development of the energy company. The minority stake in Pori Energia is the first Finnish addition to Polhem Infra’s investment portfolio and a “great fit” for the company’s strategy to invest in sustainable Nordic infrastructure for the long term.
- Dutch pension asset manager APG, along with Rabobank, has invested in sustainability-led direct lender Colesco’s first close, in which it has raised €800m.

Backed by its proprietary Responsible Investment Framework, Colesco is committed to making over 50 per cent of sustainable investments with the remaining in companies that demonstrate a clear pathway to becoming a sustainable investment over time. In addition, over and above realising financial returns, half of the performance-related fees are directly connected to realising the platform’s sustainability KPIs.
- Switzerland’s Caisse de pensions de la fonction publique du Canton de Neuchâtel has announced that its investment in two blocks of flats is available to rent from March 2025.
Located in the heart of the Val-de-Travers in Fleurier, the CPCN is offering 56 modern homes. All the homes are connected to AgriBioVal 100 per cent renewable district heating. In addition, 535 m2 of photovoltaic panels cover all the buildings ensuring an average production of 110,000 kw/h. The CPCN is offering multigenerational housing, 22 flats will accommodate families, individuals or couples while 34 flats with certified supervision will be made available to active seniors and the elderly.
