In an announcement, Cardano said that the partnership with Cardano further strengthens Allianz’s sustainability ambitions and by doing so, both Allianz and Allianz PPI will commit to the sustainability ambitions of Allianz worldwide. - Member contributions to Sampension in Denmark reached a record high last year of DKK 11.7bn.

This represents an increase of 6 per cent compared to 2021. Current payments totalled DKK 8.3bn during 2022, compared to DKK 7.9bn the previous year, while customers’ deposits and transfers amounted to DKK 2.6bn, a year-on-year increase of 33 per cent. "We are extremely satisfied that the payments from customers reached new heights in an otherwise turbulent 2022,” said Sampension CEO, Hasse Jørgensen. “The development is not least due to the fact that last year we had a significant influx of new business customers who chose us as a pension supplier.”

- Dutch pension fund ABP has made a further investment in The Social Hub (TSH) student concept.

The financing enabled the Eindhoven branch to build a ‘PowerNest’, consisting of wind turbines with solar panels on top. This is expected to supply 17 per cent of the energy that the building needs. ABP has been investing in TSH since 2015 and it announced last year that it took a larger interest in TSH through its executor, APG.
