Jerry Moriarty appointed as Redbrucke chairperson

Jerry Moriarty has been appointed as chairperson of Redbrucke.

The Dublin-based firm offers defined benefit and defined contribution administration and actuarial, software support and solutions.

Moriarty, who has over 30 years of experience in pensions, retired from his role as CEO of the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF) at the end of February this year.

He also stepped down from his role as chair of PensionsEurope at the same time.

His previous experience also includes head of compliance at the former Pensions Board.

Commenting on his appointment, Moriarty said he was “delighted” to take on the role and is looking forward to working with Eric Plunkett, Thomas Plunkett and the team.

“I am also looking forward to working with Rosemary Burke FSAI and Michael Hickey to develop the RedbruckeDTS strategic alliance between Redbrucke and DTS Dedicated Trustee Services DAC.

“The combination of IT systems, actuarial, legal and compliance, data/reporting and audit skills of both firms will provide pension schemes and administrators with governance, data and reporting solutions.”
