I&P Denmark to formally establish employer association

Members of Insurance and Pension Denmark are to formally make the decision to establish a new employer association, known as F&P Arbejdsgiver (in English I&P Employer).

The decision will be formalised on 16 November and I&P Employer will take over the employer tasks from the Financial Sector Employers' Association from the new year. It will be headed by Sanne Stadil, who has previously been the director of personnel law at the Confederation of Danish Industry.

"I am truly proud that we have been able to attract such a strong profile as Sanne Stadil to head the industry's new employers' association. I know Sanne as one of the absolute best in her field – and at the same time also as an excellent leader who will be able to create the right direction for our advice and efforts as an employer organisation,” I&P Denmark CEO, Kent Damsgaard, said.

As director of personnel law, Stadil has been responsible for the overall management of DI's personnel law area, which provides advice on personnel law, negotiates collective agreements and conducts litigation and arbitration for its members. This also includes the development of digital advisory tools for members within personnel law and teaching activities within personnel law and collective bargaining agreements.

“It is a huge task to establish a completely new employer organisation, but Stadil has the experience and skills needed to make F&P Employer a success – together with the talented team of colleagues who come to us from the Danish Financial Sector Employers' Association. She is also a skilled communicator who can raise our new voice as an employer organisation," Damsgaard said.

She will join I&P Denmark on 13 November to assist with preparations to be able to handle the employer's tasks from the new year. She will also join I&P Denmark’s Executive Board.

“I look forward to getting started on creating the framework for us to provide our members in the insurance and pension industry with the best possible advice and service – also in this field. It is an incredibly exciting task, and I am really looking forward to meeting our members, so we use the opportunity to create the new employer organisation they want and need,” Stadil said.
