ERAFP appoints Julien Méjane as deputy director

The French Public Service Additional Pension Scheme (ERAFP) has appointed Julien Méjane as its deputy director, administrative and operations director.

Méjane began his career in the banking sector, where he specialised in structured finance in Asia, and later in asset-liability management at Crédit Agricole.

In 2001, he founded and ran a financial risk management software company, which he sold in 2008 and then focused on banking information systems.

In 2015, after graduating from the École Nationale d'Administration (ENA), Méjane joined the General Inspectorate of Social Affairs (IGAS).

In this role, he carried out evaluation, support, and control missions for public authorities in the health and social sectors.

After a period at the Regional Chamber of Auditors, Méjane returned to IGAS in 2022. In this position, he evaluated the performance of social security operators and their information system strategies.

ERAFP said, in a release about Méjane’s appointment, that his expertise and diversified experience will be major assets to support the company in its future challenges.
