Danish Scouts select AkademikerPension as pension provider

The Danish Scout Association and the Green Girl Guides Denmark have selected AkademikerPension to provide company pensions.

The Danish Scout Association and the Green Girl Guides Denmark, and the associated organisations have approximately 60 administrative employees who help ensure that the organisations' 40,000 members have scouting experiences for life through fellowship in nature.

AkademikerPension CEO, Jens Munch Holst, said he was “proud” of the agreement as the two organisations “share the same values” as AkademikerPension – a good pension based on responsible values.

Commenting, Danish Scout Association secretary general, Morten Gade, and Green Girl Guides Denmark secretary general, Winnie Berndtson, said: "AkademikerPension was a natural choice for us as the company offers flexibility for the individual employee and an investment profile with a climate-friendly and responsible focus."

They continued: "And as democratic organisations, it was also important to us that Akademikerpension is owned by the members."

The agreement brings AkademikerPension’s corporate agreements to 66. Munch Holst said corporate customers are an “important strategic pillar” for the pension fund.
