Dutch pension fund Haskoning selects Van Lanschot Kempen as fiduciary manager

Dutch pension fund Haskoning Nederland has appointed Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management as its fiduciary manager.

Van Lanschot Kempen will provide services comprising a full fiduciary management mandate.

The pension scheme manages the pensions of current and former employees of Haskoning Nederland and has more than 11,000 members, with more than €1.25bn in assets under management.

“With the Future Pensions Act on the horizon, we wanted to strengthen our organisation by partnering with a fiduciary manager who understands our requirements and long-term vision and can guide us throughout this process,” commented Stichting Pensioenfonds Haskoning Nederland chair, Liesbeth Galesloot.

“After a careful selection process, we chose Van Lanschot Kempen.”

Galesloot said that the proposed services and intended collaboration model aligned well with how the pension scheme wanted to operate in the new system.

Van Lanschot Kempen head of institutional relations, Johan van Egmond, added: “We are proud that Stichting Pensioenfonds Haskoning Nederland has selected us as its new fiduciary manager.

“This decision reflects our shared commitment to a future-proof pension scheme that can operate optimally under the new pension contract.

“We look forward to a constructive and long-term partnership, including a successful transition to the new pension system.”
