Czech dynamic pension funds top 12% in first-half returns

Dynamic pension funds delivered returns of more than 12 per cent in the first half of 2026, the Association of Pension Companies of the Czech Republic (APS CR) has highlighted.

Indeed, the best-performing fund gained almost 13 per cent, with the APS CR attributing the strong result to equities.

The association said that if returns remain at a similar pace through the second half of the year, pension savers could be on course for a fourth consecutive year of double-digit annual returns.

Dynamic pension funds recorded average gains of 12.5 per cent in 2023, 20.6 per cent in 2024 and 16.5 per cent in 2025.

APS CR spokesperson, Jan Sedláček, told Seznam Zprávy that "it looks like dynamic fund participants will experience the fourth year in a row with double-digit appreciation".

"This year, the magic ten was broken in May," he added.
